A Chaplaincy Service is provided by a Pastoral Care Worker (PCW) in our school community on behalf of the local combined Christian community to provide additional support as needed.
This position is funded through the National School Chaplaincy Program (NSCP), with employment managed by Schools Ministry Group (SMG) who are an approved Chaplaincy Service Provider of the South Australian Department for Education.
The PCW is employed for 13 hours per week with additional hours generously funded by our local Christian churches.
This service provides support to students, families, staff and the wider community in times of celebration and need.  Our PCW is trained, equipped and experienced to partner our school staff to build community, harmony and cohesion while providing a unique dimension of social, emotional and spiritual support in line with the DE Wellbeing for Learning and Life Framework.
