The curriculum at Lameroo Regional Community School is based on the South Australian Curriculum, Standards and Accountability (SACSA) Framework and South Australian Certificate of Education (SACE). These frameworks provide a basis for teachers to design learning and assessment programs to suit the needs of all students.

Embedded within the Curriculum Frameworks are Essential Learnings and Key Competencies. Essential Learnings are personal and intellectual qualities that will enrich student's lives and broaden their options for life in society. The Essential Learnings are Futures, Identity, Interdependence, Thinking and Communication. Key Competencies are also embedded into the SACSA frameworks. They are skills that will help students in the workforce, further training and for life. The Key Competencies are collecting, analysing and organising information, communicating ideas and information, planning and organising activities, working with others in teams, using Mathematical ideas and techniques, solving problems, and using Technology.
